"When I fist saw the painting it intrigued me and beckoned a further look. Questions were raised and interest stirred. Once we left the painting, it created much discussion in our home. Creating Understanding Through Art...
As a contemporary Aboriginal artist, my mission is to create understanding through art and design in order to help clients gain greater understanding of Aboriginal culture and history. We achieve this using a range of media including artwork, imagery, design elements, traditional iconography and written texts.
Interest has grown significantly in our contemporary Aboriginal art and we now exhibit and sell our artworks all over the world. We have works in private and corporate collections in Australia, England, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and the US. While based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, we exhibit our paintings and artworks widely both in Australia and overseas. Our paintings and artworks have been featured in various media including print news, radio and television.
Our contemporary Aboriginal artworks and paintings feature original themes, ideas and personal insights which we communicate through the use of traditional Aboriginal iconography and symbols, vibrant colours, unique textures and specially developed painting techniques. (Read more about our work in How we create). Please see my Biographies and Curriculum Vitae for a more detailed view of my artistic experience and achievements.
